Keeley Hawes, who admits she is unnerved by the attention that her husband, Matthew Macfadyen, receives from the opposite sex since he played Mr Darcy in the recent cinema adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, now has the chance to take her revenge.
Mandrake hears that the 29-year-old actress, who met Macfadyen, 32, on the set of the popular television series Spooks, is to appear in a big-budget film likely to win her just as much attention in Hollywood.
"It's a heist movie based on the true story of the 1971 Baker Street Lloyds Bank raid," says one of Keeley's chums. The film, which has the working title D Notice, is to be directed by Roger Donaldson, who made the Tom Cruise blockbuster Cocktail and the Kevin Costner thriller No Way Out, and will co-star Jason Statham and Saffron Burrows.
