This year, Comic Relief is auctioning the wedding dress from the sketch as well as the wedding invitation signed by the cast. (see below)

"Looking for a unique wedding dress or just a great piece of memorabilia? This wedding dress was worn by Michelle Ryan in the Mr. Bean sketch from Red Nose Day 2007. Included with this lot is a wedding garter and wedding invitation signed by the cast."

You can bid on the dress HERE.

Also, you can view last year's sketch below. (thanks Flip!)

Matthew's Masterclass postponed

Due to Matthew Macfadyen's commitments with Enid (the Enid Blyton Biopic), the Masterclass that Matthew was scheduled to teach on 20th March has been postponed.

This notice was posted here.

Congratulations to the Doodle Auction Winner!

Darcylicians have been enthralled with the recent National Doodle Day auction, in which Matthew Macfadyen's doodle of "Mike" was sold to the highest bidder. The auction closed just this morning.

Matthew's doodle went for the highest amount, with proceeds going to charity.

The winner of the doodle was our very own Darcylician, Matthieu! A huge congratulatory hug to him!

However, you can still help Matthew Macfadyen (or better yet, his son Ralph!) win the DOOD, a sculpture that goes to the winner. If you live in the UK, you can text vote by texting the following: DOODLE 1375 to 80039 (charges apply). Matthieu's request is to have little Ralph win the DOOD!

Finally, you can still purchase items with Matthew's doodle

More on Enid

We've just learned that the handsome and talented Joseph Millson, will be playing Enid Blyton's brother, Hanly.  There was a read through this morning, where Matthew also attended.  We understand that the drama is being called ENID, at this point.
