Filming for The Promised Land begins March 2011

It's been a long time since we've had any news about The Promised Land.  Cineuropa is claiming that filming with Colin Firth and Matthew Macfadyen begins March 2011 in Israel. The political thriller is set against the lead-up to the 1948 partition of Palestine and the creation of Israel.
