Matthew ran Fleet Half Marathon

Matthew Macfadyen ran the Asics Fleet Half Marathon on 20th March 2011.   He ran the course in 02:12:01   Along with Matthew were a host of celebrities who do it for charity, in this case, Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.

Some more information about the characters in Three Musketeers

Moviefone has some of the recently released photos from the Three Musketeers in 3D and some comments about the characters.

Athos (Matthew MacFayden) is seen as the leader of the three Musketeers and acts as a father figure to D'Artagnan, taking him under his wing. Anthos is also quite secretive, with a mysterious past that haunts him throughout the film.

Any Human Heart Receives Bafta Television Awards Nominations

Any Human Heart has received three nominations for the Bafta Television Awards 2011.  The awards will be held on Sunday 22 May at London’s Grosvenor House, hosted by Graham Norton.

More Award Nominations for The Pillars of the Earth

The Pillars of the Earth has been nominated best mini series (The Golden Nymph) at the Monte Carlo Television Festival.  In addition Ian McShane for outstanding actor in a mini series for his role in The Pillars of the Earth. 

The festival is held between 6-10 June in Monte Carlo.
