The Pillars of the Earth in UK and Netherlands

Channel 4 has announced that The Pillars of the Earth will begin airing in the UK on 16th of October at 9.05pm.  You can learn more http://www.channel4.com/tv-listings  (thanks to deebee for the information!)

In the Netherlands, broadcasting begins on Sunday 10th October. There will be 4 parts of each two hours.  edit: correction it will be 8 parts with the first part a 2 hour showing. (thanks to Rebecca!)

ITV3 Crime Thriller Awards 2010

Matthew Macfadyen has been nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Dagger for his role in Criminal Justice 2 in the ITV3 Crime Thriller Awards 2010.  The Awards will take place on Friday Oct 8, but will air on ITV3 on Tuesday Oct 12th at 21:00. You can view the full list of nominees HERE.
