We are now just Darcylicious

Many of you have probably been wondering why the matthew-macfadyen.co.uk link hasn't been working for the past three months.  The domain name (matthew-macfadyen.co.uk) was never under our control.  The name had been owned by the creator of the now defunct Matthew Macfadyen online.  Several years ago, the domain name was then pointed towards darcylicious.com with the expectation that we would eventually own the name.  We were happy to take over that responsibility, as it didn't create any more work for us.  Each year, we had offered to have the name transferred to us, and we had expected to pay for the expenses.  Each year, that never happened.

This year, we found out too late that the payment for matthew-macfadyen.co.uk had lapsed.  We attempted to contact the owner, but were unable to accomplish this.  Other friends became involved, but by the time the owner was eventually contacted, it was much too late to retrieve the domain.  We were told that we had a chance to purchase the domain name after 90 days had elapsed.  I was trying to purchase it every day, however, some other corporation purchased it before I could.  I knew other websites were also trying to purchase the domain, possibly with the intent  of transferring the domain to the other website.

I don't know what will eventually happen to this domain name or where it will lead to.  I just wanted to inform everyone that we are going back to our roots and will again only be known as Darcylicious.

I do want to thank the original owner of MMonline for allowing us to share the name for the time that we did.
