Matthew Bans the Queen

Wife, Keeley Hawes, has admitted to taking the framed Annigoni portrait of the Queen from a shelf behind Gene Hunt's desk at the end of filming of Ashes to Ashes.  She admits to having lots of Coronation-ware from the 1953 Coronation.

However, Keeley hung the Queen in the bedroom.

"And then I brought that picture home of the Queen, stuck it in the bedroom and Matthew said, 'Right, that's the final straw!' "I've been banned by my husband from having any more pictures of the Queen in the house."
