ITV cancels "A Passage to India"

The Evening Standard is reporting that the production of "A Passage to India" is going to be scrapped as too expensive during the economic downturn.

The production of E M Forster's 1924 novel about the British Raj in India, which was due to start filming in January, has been pulled due to budget concerns.
