Incendiary: a new Matthew film

According to Variety Matthew is to start shooting a new film on 26th March called Incendiary. It will co-star Ewan Macgregor and Michelle Williams.

"Pic, which starts shooting March 26, stars Michelle Williams, Ewan McGregor and Matthew Macfadyen in a contemporary drama about the emotional aftermath of a suicide bombing in London.

Producers are Andy Paterson and Anand Tucker of Archer Street, the team behind "Girl With a Pearl Earring" and "Hilary and Jackie."...

..."Incendiary" is adapted from Chris Cleave's novel about a woman whose life is torn apart when her husband and infant son are killed in a suicide bombing at a soccer match. Her trauma is intensified by the fact that she was committing adultery at the time.

Williams plays the woman and McGregor the journalist with whom she was having an affair. Macfadyen plays her husband's boss, a senior anti-terrorist police officer who becomes a rival for her love."

Vicar of Dibley Wedding inspires Mr Bean skit

Richard Curtis was interviewed by the Telegraph and mentions the following:

"I thought of something funny - a celebrity/non-entity wife-swap. It came as quite a surprise to the cast when I told them we'd be fitting it into the tight schedule for the Christmas specials. With Mr Bean I wanted to do something, but didn't have any ideas until we were filming the Dibley wedding - which prompted thoughts of all the things that could go wrong at a Bean wedding."
