Ripper Street: Matthew Macfadyen happy to be back filming in Dublin

Matthew Macfadyen had the following to say about Ripper Street series 2

It's fantastic to begin shooting in Dublin again for the second series of Ripper Street - and to be reunited with much of the wonderful cast and crew from last year. Also to be reunited with my bowler hat - I'd missed it.
