Starz acquires The Pillars of the Earth in the US

Variety reports that Starz has acquired The Pillars of the Earth for US audiences.

"Starz plans to give "Pillars" a huge promo push for a July debut. Series will preem with a two-hour seg followed by six weekly installments."
